Challenge
A stand has a few seconds to earn attention.
Trade-fair traffic does not stop for an explanation. The brief was engagement that a passer-by understands instantly, plays in under a minute, and remembers afterwards — repeated across events with different content each time.
Solution
Four mechanics, one backend.
An interactive quiz, a wheel of fortune (also in a spin version), noughts and crosses and a photowall. Each one is built for the totem rather than adapted to it, and each is skinned with the brand’s own content and graphics.
All of them feed a certified prize and gadget draw, managed from a single backend: the hostess on the floor sees what the visitor won, and the organiser sees what has been given out.
Why it matters
The mechanic is reusable, the skin is not.
This is what a productised capability looks like: the gameplay, the draw and the back office stay the same, while the content, the graphics and the prizes change with the client. For an agency that runs several activations a year, that is the difference between commissioning a game and having one. Playable demos are online at games.giacapp.com.
