Challenge

A training event is an operations problem wearing a marketing badge.

Mercedes-Benz Italia had to train the sales force of its main Italian dealers on newly launched cars, show where those cars beat their segment competitors, and reward the strongest teams. That means moving a lot of people through accreditation, test drives and assessment on a fixed schedule, without queues and without paper.

Solution

Five connected tools, one guest journey.

A digital accreditation system with QR code and NFC handling registration and test-drive booking. A liability-waiver app with electronic signature. A custom event management app with participant registration, agenda, notifications and test-drive routes. A self-training app with interactive educational content, quizzes and a real-time ranking.

They are not five apps. They are one connected workstream, which is why the operations team could run the day from a single place.

Why it matters

This is the proof agencies ask for.

Automotive event technology is the hardest kind: high guest volume, physical assets that move, legal signatures, and no tolerance for a system that stalls. It is the most transferable proof in the portfolio.

Operational technology is part of the experience.

Draft note for Gianluca — do not publish this box.
Everything above comes from what giacapp.com already publishes. Still missing, and only you have it: participants, test drives run, number of days and devices, check-ins processed, failure tolerance and the onsite support model. Nothing has been invented — that is why those figures are absent. Also confirm whether the commissioning agency may be named here.
