Challenge
An audience that has to arrive at the right time, in the right car.
A drive-in inside a working headquarters has a fixed number of parking places, a film schedule and two audiences to keep apart: employees and top clients. Every seat booked wrongly is a car in the wrong place on the night.
Solution
One journey, from the invitation to the barrier.
Over 8,000 invitations went out through our G-Events platform. Registration and participation ran on a dedicated web app, skinned with the campaign’s own identity, where each guest could look through the programme — with trailers and reviews — and book a seat, with the option of reserving an electric car as well.
The system emailed a digital ticket and sent automatic reminders in the days before. The organising secretariat worked from a private back office, monitoring bookings and attendance as the evening ran.
Why it matters
Scale is not the interesting part. The join is.
Eight thousand invitations is a mailing. Eight thousand invitations that become seats, cars, tickets, reminders and a door list that matches what is happening at the entrance is an operational system — and it is the same platform we run training programmes and roadshows on.
