Challenge
Sell the engineering inside a luxury object.
The Diagono Magnesium’s selling point was its technical content — which is precisely the part a customer cannot see while the watch is on a cushion under glass.
Solution
Two ways into the same 3D product.
In Samsung Gear VR, the watch sits in a 3D environment and breaks apart to reveal its main components; the wearer reassembles it by moving their head. On Kinect, a gesture interface lets a guest select and open the 3D watch to inspect its interior and construction detail.
One asset, two interaction models, chosen to suit how guests moved through the event.
Why it matters
Legacy hardware, current craft.
The headset is of its time. The discipline is not: modelling a premium product accurately enough to survive close inspection, and designing an interaction a guest gets right on the first try, is the same job today on current hardware.
The headset dates. The craft does not.
Everything above comes from what giacapp.com already publishes. Still missing, and only you have it: current visuals and the exact scope. Also decide whether to feature this case at all, given the Gear VR era hardware. Nothing has been invented — that is why those figures are absent. Also confirm whether the commissioning agency may be named here.
